You led our congregation by opening God's word, and then you lived your life reflecting all we've heard. 

You cared for others deeply and lift them in prayer and when we faced misfortunes we knew that you would've been there. 

Dr. E. L. Thomas we really love you for everything you did, And we thank God for giving us a Pioneer like you.

Though they are gone from sight, not from our hearts,
Their love remains, a light that never departs.
In quiet pews and whispered prayer,
We feel their presence still, so near.

They walked in faith, with hands held high,
Their praises rising to the sky.
Now in heaven, they sing once more,
Beyond this life, on that eternal shore.

We honor them with every song,
With every step as we walk along
The path they helped to pave with grace,
Each memory time cannot erase.

Though tears may fall and hearts may ache,
We trust the promises God won’t break.
For in His arms, they now find rest—
Forever loved, forever blessed.
